The new season of Lost begins January 21. Abc has begun playing a teaser trailor for the new season. The season 5 logo features the classic look with a cityscape transcribed on the title word: Lost. This got me thinking along with other context clues about the island and the show as a whole. Could the show deal with Atlantis? Wikipedia describes atlantis as, "a legendary island first mentioned by Plato . . ." This theory would explain the existance of the others and why it is so important that the island remain hidden from the world. This could also explain some of the islands mysterious "powers". Just a guess. I am excited for the new season and hope it will be good. My favorite character is Desmond by far and if he dies, I am done with the show.
